Welcome to our family blog!!!

Hi everyone and welcome to our family blog. I'm new to blogging and still trying to get the hang of things so go easy on me, lol. Since our blog is new to the group I thought I'd give you a little background about our family and how we came to be. :) My fiance Andrew (19 Years Old) and I (20 Years Old) met in high school and have now been together almost three years. I graduated in the year 2008, he in 2009. Just a few months before his graduation our incredible son was conceived. On November 5th, 2009 we became parents to David James Castro (now 11 Months). Given we are young parents and our son was obviously a complete surprise, we're still working towards getting out on our own and on our own feet. Drew moved in with my family the day David was born and we've been in my parents house since. We did not become engaged until David's 6 Month Birthday. For eight months I was a stay at home mom until Andrew lost his job. We both went job hunting and I found one first. I'm now working full time at a Car Wash with intentions of going back to school next semester. Andrew is now a full time dad as well as a full time student at Full Sail University. Finances are tough right now so life's been a little stressful as Drew is still looking for a job and I don't always get the hours I need. BUT we're moving in wonderful direction and I'm so excited for the journey ahead of us. Drew and I will be married October 13th, 2012. By then we hope to be graduated from college, more financially stable, and on our own. We dream big and have a long way to but I have complete faith in our family. We have incredible support from family and I can't even begin to describe how much of a blessing they are to us. Our biggest joy in life is caring for our little man, he's the most amazing baby boy ever! He's the light of our world and gives us the motivation to keep moving forward. Even when life gets a little tough we always stick together and make the best out of all situations. Welcome to our family and I hope you enjoy the journey just as much we do. ;) ♥
